My Summer Of New Experiences

This Summer I traveled many places with my family and friends. One of my favorite experiences was backpacking with my dad and friend Sarah. It was my first time ever hiking for three days. We climbed up Mount Hood to an area called McNeil point. We climbed around 5,000 feet and camped in a little enclosed area. The hike took a while and was a little hard, but the views were so worth it!

Another great experience this summer was camping at Lewis River Falls with my family and friends. Every year a group of about 5 families camp here for around a week. This camp site is about 3 hours away in Washington. Our family owns an R.V. so we travel in it ever year. We got to watch about ten people jumping off of these falls; one day I would like to do this myself. I look forward to this trip every year because I meet new people and experience so many new things.
